27th October 2024 – message from John Bromage

John will be at the last day of trailing at Millstone Moor if anyone wishes to hand over any subscriptions and forms etc. He will also be in attendance at the Whitehaven AGM but will not be attending any of the others. Forms and Subscriptions can be given to the secretary and she will pass them on at the December meeting. The secretary has paper copies of Registration forms and Kennel forms if anyone would like these.

Could all returns for 2024 trails be with John prior to the December meeting on the 1st so that he can finalise the accounts. Your cooperation would be much appreciated.

Thanks John

15th October 2024 – message from Cockermouth and Workington Area

Today we mourn the sad loss of David Hogg, David was a long standing member of the Cockermouth and Workington Area and was still active until this last twelve months, he was also on the Executive Committee for many years representing the Area. He was my right hand man for many years marking the hounds at the start and catching on the finish. He was a quiet, unassuming man but liked to come to the trails, have a crack and a bit of a joke and run his dogs with his great friend John. Together they ran Levi, Levitate and most recently Jubilee. He will be missed, our thoughts go to his family at this sad time.
