Please note dates for the up coming Annual General Meetings for the four remaining Areas. This is where anyone can put forward Notices of Motion and discuss and put forward any recommendations to improve the sport. According to Rule 29.1 all notices of motion for consideration at the Area Annual General meeting shall be in the hands of the secretary, in writing, at least three clear days before the meeting, duly proposed, seconded and signed by members eligible under clause 22. Any Notices of Motion that are past at the Area AGM will automatically go to the December meeting to be noted and will go straight to the AGM in February for the members to vote on. Any recommendations which come from the floor at the Area AGM will go forward to the December meeting where they will be discussed and the meeting may change/amend the Recommendation. If the recommendation is passed at the December meeting following a vote it will go to the February meeting for the members to vote on.

Anyone paying their membership fees etc and you want to pay by cheque can you please make the cheques payable to the Hound Trailing Association Limited. The name on the accounts hasnt been changed to Hound Racing Association as yet.

Anyone who cant print the forms off again i will have these with me at the trails or i can post forms out to you if you are not attending any of the trails over the next two weeks.

Also if anyone wants aniseed over winter i can bring it to the last few Cockermouth and Workington trails but after that you will have to collect it. If you are OK collecting then then thats fine you can message me and i will leave it out for you. Cockermouth and Workington Area also have paffafin if any one also wants parrafin. Please bring your own container.

The Area will be having their presentation night on the 21st November at Seaton Rugby Club. It will consist of the Presentation, Race night and buffet. Tickets are £10 each. Please contact me or anyone from the Area for tickets.

Please note that there is a new yearly Renewal of Membership Form which all members need to complete with the relevant details. When you renew your membership you will need to also complete one of these forms. Anyone who cannot down load the forms please let me know and i will provide paper copies.

Throughout the month of October any hound running in the Cockermouth and Workington Area and that gets a ticket will accumulate points. The hound with the most points senior/or pup in any grade will win the Ike Walker Trophy and Prize money. The runner up and third hound will also receive a cash prize.
