12th January 2024 – message from Mark Bryden/Whitehaven Area

Today we lost a life long member of the HTA in the form of Lena Gibson. Wife to Edward and a member of the great Lawson family who had too many winners to mention. Lena has been missing at the trails in recent years but was still an active member of the Eagle Kennel with her weekly input, I never ran a hound without Lena’s advice. In recent years after holding many trophy’s, Lena held the recently won Bitch Produce Trophy with such pride and joy not having lost any of her enthusiasm for the sport. Rest Easy Lena you will be sadly missed by all. Condolences to the family from the Whitehaven Area also. Funeral arrangements will follow.

Thanks Mark/Christine
