Report. The warm, sultry weather is proving a trying time for the hounds, but James Irving must have the answer after Arnie on Monday , it was the turn of Hally on Wednesday , winning once more by the proverbial mile, the others well strung out and the pups although the first six came together , if one of them had fallen and tumbled it would have won.., in the end it was Miterdale Spirit that  walked it. The maidens finished rather fresher and Hunter’s Dale held on from Miterdale Proper.

And the All-in. well I was all- in so I watched them from a distance on the way home .I can report that you can hear the plaintive cry of “Trail” at Fangs Brow.
