Report. The first trail meeting of the season at Low Place and on a fine night Thorn Dancer scored an overdue success over the local hound Miterdale Shadow, The red’un was well down the finish before she was spotted and a few onlookers were counting their brass as it looked like an easy win for “Shadow” as it was , Dancer was a convincing winner and  all three Miterdales were in the money.

The pup trail and the locals retaliated when Miterdale Spirit won with plenty in hand. Babylon ran on for second in front of the two siblings Best Mate and Cuckoo Lane, who incidentally was short of catching feed as his owner had fed both second and third..

In the Restricted trail the locals once again had to settle for second place as Overwater Hally, supplementing his maiden success on Saturday won easily Miterdale proper was in second whilst Overwater Jack was third..
