Report

Last Saturday it was Many Clouds today there wasn’t a cloud in the sky for our first venture into Miterdale and eventually Low Place.

John Crone had answered a ‘will you come call’ ( Bookie) and after the well backed Serenity had romped home in the Seniors things didn’t look to rosy,

but the rest of the meet wasn’t so bad.

In the Senior Maidens Trooper Thorn and Debra were well clear and just as well as they both missed the last wall gap as they straightened up Debra finished fast to deny a wandering ‘Trooper’ a win.

The pups and here ‘knowledge can be a dangerous thing’ as all of them ,without the exemption of two, went on the practice trail. The two Huntsmans gained a sizeable advantage and despite a valiant attempt by the odds on Daisy Dream they held on for a one – two for the Glenridding kennel.

In the restricted trail Thorn Dolly finished well to deny local Miterdale one by a length to register a double for Kentmere Kennel of Burrows/ Satterthwaite.

Fifteen old timers in the last and the destiny of the bookies hopes  were in the balance up to the line where Night Shadow nipped Da Look much to the his delight.

A pleasant days trailing made better by one owners delight on finding out his hound had finished sixth.
