Report. The long uphill finish at the ‘moor’ with a good growth of grass made it hardwork for the hounds. So after ‘downhill’ on Sunday ,trailing was back UPHILL on Tuesday ( for the doommongers)

Once again Prudence made light work of the opposition and seems ‘nailed on’ to retain her Championship. She won comfortably from a tiring Tan Ted with a rejuvenated Silver Spangle in third.

The junior trail and late reports had Billy Bowe in front followed closely by the Dearham Three and these had a nice lead but over the gate and onto the finish there was a group of at least six and out of them shot Thorn Dancer who simply relished the uphill climb ,Arizona and Santino had their own battle for second with the others close behind .

IN the maidens Barton showed in front but Plan B took up the running and seemed to be holding on from the reluctant Barton but in the final strides the ‘white ‘un ‘pressed on and only got beat a neck.Titanium was ten meters back in third.

The all in and ‘Sam’ back from injury, didn’t give an inch and held on from ‘Bessie’ with Capetown handy in third in what was a ‘tidy field’.
