Liz has been “knocking at the door ” and she registered her first win at the expense of Deepdale Flynn and the errant Babycham who was intent on running the Grassings trail, running wide and throwing away any chance.
By the Way this new Oulton trail comprises of the Grassings trail , some of the old Oulton trail, the main difference being the new trail field and fresh finish.
The first senior hound Restricted for some time ,there was one at the kentmere venue and some many seasons ago, only seven runners ,of which four came together and coming from that fourth position relishing the uphill finish was Arizona , he passed Meadow Dixie to win by five lengths, Chairman beats Vice- Chairman .
The pup trail and mayhem at the first road crossing, it would be well to remember that this is the first time that these pups have encountered a road crossing especially with a number of scouts and by-standers standing TOO CLOSE.
And as before on nearly every first pup trail, they made a mess of it , running down the road and quite a number returned were caught and ran in the All-In, a number came back and went again one of which was the eventual winner Limber, lesson learnt , and there will be no problems on Tuesday.
