Report . The times of the three races reflected the conditions between today and sports day, much more amenable and a welcome shower now and then.

Only six in the first but nevertheless an intriguing contest develop, appearing from behind the trees to a gasp from the appreciative audience came four hounds within 20 yards and Jenny’s Delight won three lengths.

In the pups Cuckoo Lane continued his good run of form but he was helped when Huntsman’s Novice put a circle in before crossing the lane putting paid to his chance of victory, the favourite Huntsman’s Nimrod was third and Overwater Seth unplaced. Just a mention here , it is not often that “Greenie” gets a ticket nevermind two in one race .

The Huntsman’s were in charge in the last  when taking first and second  with two Jenny’s and Jenny turned up to make three.
